Texas Free Riders

The Texas Free Riders was formed to bring like-minded people together who enjoy motorcycle riding, friendship, and fun. The group as a whole is more important than any individual and this site will be operated in a democratic manner with the majority ruling. We are dedicated to taking the road less traveled and wherever possible routes will be developed using back roads and streets avoiding Interstates and major highways. Individuals are encouraged to develop routes with this in mind however it is understood that there will be times and events that require the use of major roadways. All group members are strongly encouraged to participate in both ride planning and attending group events. This is a social site and with everyone's participation we can offer more choices and variety of rides (short, long, overnight etc...) adding to the group's enjoyment. Riding safety is of paramount importance and riders should have basic safe riding skills and familiarity with basic hand signals. We encourage longer rides over bar hops. Intoxication or those under the influence of drugs will not be tolerated.

Our reasons for putting this together are simple - sometimes a sunny weekend rolls around and it would be fun to have a good group of like-minded people to ride with. We know from experience that a group that rides together for a period of time gets really good at it - and thus the ride is more fun and safer.
